Sara spent the day working with our Executive Chef Adam Rose in the kitchen of our Il Palio Restaurant yesterday! As a fourth grade teacher in Holly Springs, NC Sara is absolutely passionate about cooking and was thrilled with the opportunity to join the Siena’s culinary team through our “Day as a Chef Package”. She received our “Day as a Chef” package last year during the Flight of Hope Auction Event and has been looking forward to it ever since.
Sara mastered the art of rolling out pasta and making our homemade ravioli, chick pea pesto, and stock! She also learned how to properly butcher meats, and more!
Sara’s day ended with a relaxing 6-course dinner in Il Palio Ristorante with three of her friends. “I’m excited to cook everything, but I think I’m more excited to eat!”
